Home dates with Alabama, Florida and Kentucky highlight Mississippi State men’s basketball 2027 SEC schedule.

The Bulldogs are looking to bounce back from a 5-13 conference record last season, which included an 8-8 mark at home. State finished the season on a six-game losing streak, the longest of Chris Jans’ career as a head coach. Last season also marked the fourth-year coach’s first career sub-.500 season.

MSU’s SEC schedule boasts eight teams in ESPN’s “Way Too Early Top 25,” with five of them coming to Humphrey Coliseum.

MSU will open conference play by hosting Alabama, and put a cap on the conference slate with a home game against Ole Miss. State’s toughest road games seem to be, albeit months away from the season, Arkansas on Jan. 30, Alabama in mid-February and Tennessee in early March.
