DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN – BASKETBALL POWER COUPLE Joe and Clara Wu Tsai will divorce after nearly 30 years of marriage, the two announced on Friday, according to the New York Post. They have three children together.
A spokesperson for the Tsais said that their relationship remains amicable, but that they had grown apart. They plan to continue to work together as co-owners of the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty, and of Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment.
“Joe will remain chairman and Clara will remain vice chair of Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment,” the spokesperson said. “Joe will remain governor of the Brooklyn Nets and Clara will remain governor of the New York Liberty. They will continue to own and be stewards of the teams with professional management in place as they always have.”
