Auburn basketball received unfortunate news regarding its NCAA Tournament fate on Sunday. The Tigers, who made the Final Four last season as a No. 1 seed, are left out of the NCAA Tournament this season after posting a 17-16 record.
Despite its record, Auburn basketball was still considered for an at-large bid due to its strength of schedule and its four wins against Quad 1 opportunities. However, several “bubble teams,” including VCU and Miami Ohio, caught lucky breaks while Auburn just missed the cut.
After it was revealed that Auburn would miss the field, several Auburn fans, as well as the Tigers’ biggest critics, took to social media to share their takes on the news. Here are the best social media reactions to Auburn basketball missing the NCAA Tournament.
