Dallas Mavericks star guard Kyrie Irving tops the league in new NBA video game NBA 2K27 with a 99-rating in ball-handling.

That ranks him ahead of Steph Curry, Jalen Brunson and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

With the game set to be released on Sept. 4, 2K has been slowly dropping ratings reveals in the lead-up to the release of the game and the start of the NBA season. The 34-year-old Irving, who missed the entire 2025-26 season while recovering from a torn ACL, is given the highest ball-handling rating a player can get. He tops Curry at 97 and Brunson and Gilgeous-Alexander, both at 96.

He hasn’t seen the floor since March of 2025, but 2K still taps Irving as having the best handles in the league.
