Since being traded to the Brooklyn Nets in 2025, Michael Porter Jr. has been playing in a largely low-pressure NBA environment.
He won a championship with the Denver Nuggets, but the current iteration of the Nets are far from competitive. And while life on the court might have slowed down a little, Porter Jr. is still balling.
Big basketball stars are celebrities, and as such, are often attending parties and socialising. This is especially true in the offseason, and Porter Jr. told a wild story from one such recent event he attended.

Not a lot of MPJ’s romantic life has made it into the public space. His relationship with actress Madison Pettis is one of the only known ones, while there were also unsubstantiated rumors about Ice Spice.
Recently, the man himself provided some insight into his private affairs, disclosing that he had as many as five exes he had to avoid at Michael Rubin’s white party.
“I had five of my exes at Rubin’s all-white party,” MPJ said in a podcast appearance. “It was hectic in there for me. At the same venue is crazy.
“I had to navigate a lot that night. But I decided to do my thing and stay out of the way.”

For most normal people, a social situation like this is borderline unimaginable. However, for an NBA star, it’s not all that surprising. Porter Jr. will be hoping to have a more relaxed time at any future events they decide to attend.
