Ja Morant is all set to begin a new chapter in his career after the Memphis Grizzlies traded him to the Portland Trail Blazers.
While Morant is yet to play for the Trail Blazers, the former second-overall pick already has fans talking about him, albeit for a non-basketball reason.

NBA fans react to Ja Morant showing his $250K grill
A video of Morant went viral where the Trail Blazers guard showcased his $250K grill. As expected, fans had a lot to say, but the general reaction wasn’t in favor of Morant.
“That grill is absolutely ridiculous,” a fan wrote. While another added, “Then we have players complaining they don’t get enough money.”
“C’mon, Ja. This can’t be real,” a third fan stated. “$250K on a grill just to make every smile look like a flashbang,” a fourth fan mocked.
“That’s why these clowns go bankrupt once they retire,” a fifth fan pointed out.
Morant is set to make more than $42.1 million from his NBA salary alone next season. So, a $250K investment may look small, but the majority of fans still called out the 27-year-old for wasting his money.
