Tyrese Haliburton officially announced that he is fully healthy and ready to go for the Indiana Pacers after missing the entire 2025-26 season due to his torn Achilles recovery.

As the official schedule for the 2026-27 NBA season is set to be finally released in less than 24 hours, Tyrese Haliburton formally announced that he is ready to go for the Indiana Pacers.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, the Pacers star revealed that he is now fully healthy to play after skipping the entire past season due to his grinding Achilles recovery.

“I saw a report that was like, ‘sources tell me Tyrese will be healthy’…I am the source,” Haliburton told the media. “I am healthy right now. I feel great. Playing pickup pretty regularly at this point. So, I feel great.

“I will be ready for the season. If the season was today, I’d be ready. It can’t come fast enough.”

Healthy Tyrese Haliburton set to run it back with Pacers next season

Tyrese Haliburton went down with a devastating torn right Achilles tendon in Game 7 of last year’s NBA Finals, which completely ruined the Pacers as the OKC Thunder went on to clinch the 2025 championship.

With Haliburton down for the whole year, the Pacers endured a lowly season, registering a 19–63 record that now stands as the worst in franchise history.

With a fully recovered Haliburton back in the lineup, the Pacers can’t be more determined to run it back and fulfill their unfinished business.

Indiana will embrace new faces on their team next season, highlighted by the additions of Kelly Oubre Jr. and Larry Nance Jr.
