On top of their regular-season schedule, the Sixers’ preseason slate is now finalized.

The Sixers on Monday announced their 2026 preseason schedule, which begins with an Oct. 5 home game against the Knicks. All games will air on NBC Sports Philadelphia and 97.5 The Fanatic. The full schedule is below:

Oct. 5, 7 p.m. ET: Sixers vs. Knicks

Oct. 8, 7:30 p.m. ET: Sixers at Nets

Oct. 10, 8 p.m. ET: Sixers at Celtics

Oct. 16, 7 p.m. ET: Sixers vs. Celtics

The Sixers are set to open both the preseason and regular season against the defending champion Knicks, who knocked them out of the playoffs last year in a second-round series sweep. The Sixers and Knicks also faced each other last preseason and New York won both exhibition games in Abu Dhabi.

While Jaylen Brown won’t return to Boston in the regular season until Jan. 21, the Sixers-Celtics preseason matchups should be interesting to watch. The two teams made a major trade this summer that sent Brown to Philadelphia and Paul George to Boston.

The Sixers presumably won’t play their full-strength team for much of the preseason, but the exhibition games will provide the first glimpse at a new-look team with LeBron James, Brown and sky-high expectations. The Sixers’ regular-season opener at Madison Square Garden will tip off on Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. ET.
