The Houston Rockets will be well represented at the NBA’s 2025 All-Star Weekend, with second-year guard/forward Amen Thompson and rookie guard Reed Sheppard playing in Friday’s Rising Stars challenge.
Then, on Sunday, fourth-year center Alperen Sengun will participate in the All-Star Game, itself. It’s possible that Thompson or Sheppard could also play on that day, since the new format of the All-Star Game includes a four-team tournament featuring the winning team from Friday’s Rising Stars event (alongside three teams of actual All-Stars, such as Sengun).

Sengun is Houston’s first Western Conference All-Star since the 2019-20 season, when the Rockets were led by future Hall of Fame guards James Harden and Russell Westbrook.
Saturday will feature showcase events such as the annual skills challenge, 3-point shootout, and dunk contest. However, the Rockets aren’t scheduled to have any direct representatives in those flagship individual competitions.
Here’s a look at the schedule by day, along with how to watch or stream. All events will take place in San Francisco’s Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors.
All of these scheduled events are as listed on NBA.com. Times are Central. For streaming, NBA TV and ESPN activities are available on Fubo (free trial), while TNT and TruTV events are available via Max.
