For Isaiah Hartenstein, Game 1 vs Pacers ‘felt like we lost the game’

After the Indiana Pacers‘ historic comeback win against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first game of the NBA Finals, you may not want to miss out on the action next time.
If you’re still hoping to get tickets to see the Thunder take on the Pacers in Game 2, it’s not too late. But you will have to shell out some cash to get into Paycom Center for the game at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 8.
Here’s how you can get tickets, and how to avoid scams.

How to avoid NBA Finals scams
While you may be desperate to get tickets to the NBA Finals, remain weary of buying tickets off of websites like Facebook Marketplace.
One Pacers fan fell for this, purchasing what he thought was a ticket to Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals from someone on Facebook, Indianapolis news outlet WISH-TV reported. But when he received the “ticket” on his Apple Wallet, he felt something wasn’t right. He brought it to the box office and sure enough, it was a fake.
Only tickets sold through the Thunder’s website via Ticketmaster are guaranteed and authentic to ensure entry to the Paycom Center.
And, according to KFOR, NBA Finals tickets are harder to come by than a regular season game. This is because the NBA requires seats, like for extra media attending the game. KFOR also reported that fans should avoid Craigslist, and any tickets that ask the buyer to print it off.
“We don’t accept, like printed PDFs of tickets,” Mahoney told KFOR. “If you buy a ticket and it’s a printed PDF, buyer beware because there’s a good chance it’s not authentic and there’s a really good chance with that you won’t get in the game.”
