Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder star and NBA champion, has launched The SGA Foundation to give back to the communities of Oklahoma and Ontario that have shaped him the most.
The foundation is focused on three main goals: self-belief, growth and access.
It aims to build pathways for kids and families to achieve their goals, though specific details about the organization’s plans have not yet been shared, as Wednesday marked the first day of the foundation’s announcement.
The announcement also highlighted Gilgeous-Alexander’s history of community involvement. Over the years, he has been seen volunteering and giving back to kids in the area, including by hosting shopping sprees, gifting laptops and donating shoes.
