The No. 9 Oregon menís basketball team defeated the Maryland Terrapins 83-79 in Matthew Knight Arena Sunday afternoon. Oregon is now 13-2 overall, with 2-2 in the Big Ten, and Maryland is now 11-4 overall, with 1-3 in the Big Ten. For Oregon, Jackson Shelstad led the team in scoring with 23 points. Oregon had five players with double-digit scores, Shelstad with 23, Nate Bittle with 16, Keeshawn Barthelemy with 14, and Jadrian Tracey and Kwame Evans Jr. both with 10. Shelstad made all five of his 3-point attempts, Bittle, Barthelemy, and Tracey each made two, and Kwame Evans Jr. made one. For Maryland, Rodney Rice led with 19 points, Derik Queen put up 17, Jaíkobi Gillespie had 16, and Selton Miguel added 9.
