Dozens of people are fighting for a spot on the Bucks Entertainment Teams. The Rim Rockers and the Bucks Beats had their auditions Wednesday night.
For the Bucks Beats, 25 musicians will make up the final drumline for the Bucks. More than two dozen people tried out tonight. Each position has to try out for their spot every single season. The group said the competition helps keep the team fresh and ready to set the tone for fans.
“Our drumline is a catalyst for a lot of our different chants that we have here and also our encore performers. But they do more than just that. They’re also fan-facing employees, so they entertain in their concourse; they interact with fans,” Lauren Huettner, manager of live programming and entertainment, said.
The next step in the process is interviews. Huettner said the final team will be decided within the next week.
