A new campaign begins in late October.

Fifteen regular-season home contests and a three-game season-opening homestand highlight the University of Wyoming women’s basketball 2026-27 schedule released Tuesday.

The Cowgirls host Colorado Christian (Oct. 26) and South Dakota School of Mines & Technology (Oct. 30) for exhibitions, before the regular-season opener against Santa Clara on Nov. 2.

UW also hosts nonconference games with Missouri State (Nov. 7), University of Texas at Arlington (Nov. 10), Harvard (Nov. 22), Regis (Dec. 2) and Idaho (Dec. 12).

The Border War, despite Colorado State’s departure to the Pac-12, will continue Nov. 13 in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Cowgirls visit four-time reigning Summit League champions South Dakota State on Nov. 18 and Colorado on Dec. 6.

The Cowgirls will also play a Thanksgiving week tournament when they compete against Utah State (Nov. 27) and Jacksonville State (Nov. 28) at University of California, Irvine’s ZotGiving Classic.

Conference play begins with two consecutive away games (Air Force on Dec. 30 and Nevada on Jan. 2).

Conference home games include Hawaii (Jan. 6), UNLV (Jan. 9), University of Texas at El Paso (Jan. 20), New Mexico (Jan. 23), Nevada (Feb. 3), University of California, Davis (Feb. 6), Air Force (Feb. 20), Grand Canyon (Feb. 27) and San Jose State (March 2).

The Cowgirls lost nine players, including four seniors, from its 10-win 2025-26 season. Six players return, including MW All-Freshman selection Jane Rumpf. They added nine — six transfers and three freshmen.
