The Big 12 announced its men’s basketball conference schedule on Thursday, meaning Kansas’ full 2026-27 schedule is out.
The conference schedule consists of 18 games and The Jayhawks’ Big 12 opener is on Jan. 2 against West Virginia at Allen Fieldhouse.
The Big 12 opponents Kansas will face both at home and on the road are Baylor, Iowa State and Kansas State.
Kansas will face Iowa State in Ames on Feb. 13, before hosting the Cyclones on Big Monday March 1. Kansas is 41-0 under Bill Self on Big Monday at Allen Fieldhouse. The Jayhawks’ other Big Monday matchup will come on Feb. 1 at Houston.
The first Sunflower Showdown matchup is set for Jan. 23 in Manhattan. Kansas will then host Kansas State on Feb. 27.
The other five conference opponents coming to Allen Fieldhouse are Colorado, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, UCF and Texas Tech. The Red Raiders will travel to Lawrence on Feb. 6
The Jayhawks’ lone game against the reigning Big 12 champion Arizona Wildcats is scheduled for Feb. 20.
Kansas’ nonconference schedule, which was announced on June 2, is highlighted by Kentucky in the Champions Classic on Nov. 10, vs. Missouri on Dec. 6 in Kansas City and at UConn on Dec. 12. The Jayhawks will also compete in the Players ERA 8 in Las Vegas from Nov. 17-19, where they will play three games in three days, starting with UNLV.
Kansas will host three exhibition games before its regular-season opener against Fordham on Nov. 2. The first is against Pittsburg State, which is tied in with Late Night in the Phog, on Oct. 16. The Jayhawks will then host Flory Bidunga and Louisville on Oct. 21 and the Duke Blue Devils on Oct. 25.
