While all eyes are on the NFL and college football, he 2026-27 college basketball season will be here before we know it. And after a disappointing season a year ago, the USC women’s basketball team is ready to make a statement.
The Trojans will welcome the return of 2025 Naismith College Player of the Year and John R. Wooden Award winner JuJu Watkins, after she missed last season due as she recovered from a torn ACL.
But Wakings isn’t the only star player that USC has, with Jazzy Davidson set to enter her sophomore year.
This week, the Trojans showed off their modeling chops for media day, and Davidson showed off her look on social media alongside freshman forward Sitaya Fagan. who joins USC from Australia.

Jazzy Davidson Ready For National Championship Run
As a freshman last season, Davidson averaged 17.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 2.0 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game. She was undeniably one of the best all-around players on the court.
She was named the USBWA National Freshman of the Year, Big Ten Freshman of the Year, first-team All-Big Ten, and earned Big Ten All-Defensive Team honors.
With the Trojans welcoming Watkins back on the court, they’re set to have an incredible one-two punch for the upcoming season that should make them a threat to make a deep run in March.
USC is set to open its 2026-27 campaign on November 2 againsat the UNLV Rebels.
