September 21: Graham’s two-way deal with Golden State is now official, per NBA.com’s transaction log.
September 20: The Warriors are signing Graham Ike to a two-year, two-way deal, per Kenzo Fukuda of ClutchPoints.
Golden State reportedly reached an agreement in June to sign the undrafted rookie forward to an Exhibit 10 deal, but that contract is not yet official. The 24-year-old then had a strong Summer League showing for the Warriors, averaging 10.0 points and 7.2 rebounds in 21.2 minutes per game.
Ike played five collegiate seasons, starting his career at Wyoming before playing his last three seasons at Gonzaga. As a fifth-year senior, the 6’9″ forward averaged 19.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game, earning WCC Player of the Year honors.
With LJ Cryer and Malevy Leons also holding two-way contracts for the Warriors, there doesn’t appear to be room for second-round pick Lajae Jones, unless Golden State cuts one of those players. If the team enters the season with Cryer, Leons, and Ike on two-way deals, Jones could end up as a draft-and-stash prospect.
