Indiana basketball will host an intrasquad scrimmage, known as the Cream & Crimson Scrimmage, next Friday at Assembly Hall, the Hoosiers announced.
The game will tip off at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. Attendance is free and all parking lots will be open. Attendees are asked to bring a canned food item to donate to the Hoosier Hills Food Bank.
The event comes nine days before IU’s exhibition opener against Butler on Oct. 11 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
The Hoosiers are coming off an offseason in which they won the gold medal at the FISU America Games in Peru with a roster that includes the No. 8 transfer portal class in the country, per 247Sports, and the No. 21 high school class.
