OXFORD, Miss. – Former DeSoto County youth pastor Lindsey Whiteside pleaded guilty Friday to a federal charge of transporting a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, according to her attorney.
Whiteside’s attorney said the plea agreement does not include an agreed upon sentence.
The statutory penalty for the count is no less than 10 years to life in prison, along with at least five years of supervised release.Â
The other two federal charges against Whiteside will be dismissed at her sentencing hearing, scheduled for Jan. 13, 2027, in Greenville, Mississippi.
Whiteside already pleaded guilty to sexual battery in state court and was sentenced to house arrest and supervised release.
Her attorney declined to comment further.
