NEW YORK (WFSB) – UConn picked up a slew of preseason honors during Big East Media Day on Thursday.
The men’s basketball team was picked as the Big East Conference’s top preseason favorite.
The conference’s preseason player of the year is Silas Demary Jr.
Sophomore Braylon Mullins was a unanimous pick for the preseason First Team.
Na’Jai Hines, also a sophomore, was picked for the conference’s preseason Second Team.
Colben Landrew is the Big East’s preseason freshman of the year.
