It’s an exciting time to be a Miami Heat fan. After three straight seasons of average performances in the Eastern Conference, the front office shook things up this season by acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Giannis will bring something completely different, especially on offense, to a team that has been begging for a true superstar on that side of the ball. While it will take time for him to acclimate to his new teammates, one of them has already noticed the immense skills and talent Giannis brings to the table – with one of those skills really standing out.

Nikola Jovic shocked by Giannis Antetokounmpo’s passing ability
While appearing on a local Heat podcast, fifth-year forward Nikola Jovic explained what has stood out to him about Giannis so far during their time together on the basketball court: his passing ability.
He can pass the s**t out of the ball. It’s insane. Sometimes he’ll pass it in the right spot but you’re not there and it’s like, ‘ahh f**k, I gotta get to the right spot.’ You have this superstar that two guys have to guard every time and he still finds you right away in the perfect spot. We played pickup yesterday and Pelle [Larsson] had six wide open dunks. It’s insane how good his court vision is.
The player Giannis is replacing, at least in terms of carrying the offensive load, is Tyler Herro. Herro was more of a pure shooter and scorer than playmaker, so Antetokounmpo is bringing something totally different to the table than Heat players have seen in recent seasons.
