Britt McHenry got into a heated confrontation with an unruly sports fan during Wednesday night’s NBA game between the Washington Wizards and the Milwaukee Bucks, Page Six hears.
A source close to the situation told us that McHenry, a former ESPN reporter and newly a press adviser to President Donald Trump, attended the matchup at the Capital One Arena in DC with a male friend. We hear the pals were seated in front of a group of guys who were “getting loud and obnoxious.”
We’re told one of the guys began “heckling” Bucks player Kyle Kuzma, who is engaged to model Winnie Harlow.

“They were saying he plays terribly because his girlfriend’s ugly,” our source claimed, adding that the man said other “terrible” things about Harlow.
We’re told McHenry, 40, turned around and told the heckler to “ease up,” but that only “turned the attention toward her.”
The guy then allegedly began hurling “misogynistic” comments toward the former Fox contributor and even “threw a drink on her,” according to our source, who further claimed McHenry had been “drinking” throughout the evening.

We’re told the situation “became very heated” and that she allegedly “responded by throwing a drink” at the man in question.
The two were both escorted out of the arena, per our source, who noted that “everyone saw” the commotion.
Reps for McHenry and the Department of State declined to comment when reached by Page Six.
Reps for the Capital One Arena, the Bucks and the Wizards did not immediately respond to our inquiries.

McHenry was infamously suspended from ESPN in April 2015 after she was captured on video lashing out at an employee of a towing company in DC, saying the staffer had “no education” or “skill set.”
“Do you feel good about your job? So I could be a college dropout and do the same thing? Why, ’cause I have a brain, and you don’t?” she ranted after her car had been towed.
“Maybe if I was missing some teeth, they would hire me, huh? … ‘Cause I’m on television, and you’re in a f–king trailer, honey.”
Before storming out, she added, “Lose some weight, baby girl.”

McHenry was fired from the company two years later.
After the viral video resurfaced in April 2024, the journalist insisted it had been “highly edited” and “highly doctored” while defending her behavior.
“I will always kinda own it, but I look back, and I don’t think that video is that big of a deal. I feel like people get canceled every hour on social media,” she said.
“What? I said things that are true. If college degrees don’t mean anything, why do we go to college? If looks don’t mean anything then why do you have models and people that work in television, and people that can’t?”
McHenry went on to become a Fox News commentator before landing her current role.
