After a bumpy start to the season, the San Antonio Spurs are starting to find their 2026 form again.

Victor Wembanyama’s 29-points and 10 rebounds, plus another 26 points from Julian Champagnie off the bench, helped the Spurs blowout the Sacramento Kings 130-103 on Tuesday night.

Every single Spurs starter scored double digits, as the Spurs only trailed twice on the night, both early in the first quarter. The Spurs charged out to 10-point lead at the end of the first frame, with Wemby performing another one of his highlight reel dunks.

The Spurs would essentially put the game to bed by halftime, outscoring the Kings 41-25 in the second period. The lead would balloon to 26, with San Antonio leading 80-54 at halftime.

Champagnie had the game of his life shooting in the first half, burying eight shots from deep to help spur on the San Antonio run.

San Antonio kept the foot on the gas in the third quarter, putting the Kings at arms length the entire way. Wemby again threw down another dunk to keep the Spurs rolling.

It was more of the same in the fourth quarter, as the Spurs were able to empty out the bench, winning by 27 in the end.

The Spurs were led by Wembanyama and Champagnie, but also got 15 points from Stephon Castle, 14 from Devin Vassell, 13 from Dylan Harper, and another 11 from De’Aaron Fox.

It was also a much better night shooting for the Spurs, going 17-for-37 from deep, and 54 percent from the floor overall.

The Spurs are now 2-2 on the season. They take on the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City tomorrow night.
