The Boston Celtics will open up their second round matchup against the Atlantic Division rival New York Knicks on Monday evening. It is a series that should provide fans with hard-fought games between two teams loaded with star power.

Prior to tomorrow night’s Game 1 battle, the Celtics have made a major injury announcement.

On Sunday afternoon, Boston revealed that it has not one on the roster on the injury report. The Celtics will be fully healthy heading into the series.

During the regular season, Boston owned its series against New York.

NBA analyst Keith Smith reminded fans of how the regular season games went in a recent post on X.

Ahead of facing the Knicks, Brown spoke out about what his team will be facing.

“It’s a great stage for basketball,” he said. “Just all the history between Boston and New York, it’s great to be able to relive in that. Boston versus New York, it don’t get much better than that.”

Joe Mazzulla, the Celtics’ head coach, also spoke out about the matchup.

“Obviously a great coach. Great depth, great team. You’ve seen what they’ve been able to do over the course of the season and in the playoffs thus far,” he said. “It’ll be a physical series. It’ll come down to the margins.”
