The Kentucky Wildcats are recruiting one of the top international prospects in the 2026 class.

According to On3’s Joe Tipton, Kentucky is one of several schools that have contacted 18-year-old Luigi Suigo from Italy.

The 7-foot-3 Suigo has reportedly heard from Kentucky, Louisville, BYU, Texas A&M, and other schools. He’s expected to visit Purdue this month and has already visited Illinois, making a trip back in February.

Suigo played in the Adidas Next Generation Tournament earlier this year, averaging just under 10 points per game and 1.6 blocks. He is not currently ranked but is listed as a 4-star prospect by On3. He most recently played for Olimpia Milano, a professional basketball club based in Milan, Italy.

Suigo measured in at 7-foot-3 at the Basketball Without Borders event, along with a 9-foot-6 standing reach. Those are certainly some impressive measurables for an 18-year-old who is likely just scratching the surface of their potential.

This recruitment will be one to keep an eye on moving forward.
