CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — Chanticleer fans are sending off the Coastal Carolina University baseball team to Omaha!

The team is set to embark on its second run at the NCAA Men’s College World Series Championship.

The Chanticleers, who are the No. 13 national seed with a record of 53-11, will face the Wildcats (44-19) on Friday, June 13, at 2 p.m. ET at Charles Schwab Field Omaha.

The Chanticleers and Wildcats are no strangers to Omaha, having previously met in the 2016 MCWS Championship Series, where Coastal Carolina emerged victorious, winning two out of three games to claim the National Championship.
