The Philadelphia 76ers had a miserable 2024-25 season so one might not think there are many highlights from the season. However, this is the NBA and these guys are the best of the best so there is always something to look back on and take as a positive from the season.
Now is the time to look back at the season and some of the highlights the Sixers were able to come up with in what was an overall dim season.
Up first in this series is superstar big man Joel Embiid coming to the rescue. Returning after a 15-game absence, Embiid went for 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists including the game-winning bucket in a 118-116 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Feb. 2. The big fella reminded everybody what he was able to do when he is healthy enough to do it as he lifted Philadelphia to a much-needed win at the time.
The Sixers will be looking for a much healthier Embiid as time moves on. If Philadelphia returns everybody intact and ready to go, then one has to figure the 2025-26 season will be much more pleasant than 2024-25.
