The Big 12 is moving to an 18-game conference schedule in 2025-2026, and the conference released the matchups for all 16 games Thursday.

Each team will play 3 teams twice, 6 teams home only, and 6 games away only. Below are the pairings for BYU. Dates will be released at a later date

Home and Away: Texas Tech, Arizona, Utah

Home Only: Houston, TCU, UCF, Colorado, Iowa State, Arizona State

Away Only: Baylor, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Kansas, Cincinnati, West Virginia

Texas Tech should be preseason top 10 and Arizona top 15 — that should be four Quad one opportunities for BYU and a chance for BYU to build its resume for a high seed in the NCAA Tournament. Utah is expected to be one of the bottom teams in the Big 12. Those three teams give a good mix of resume-building and also stacking wins to compete for a Big 12 title.

BYU is also nearly complete with its 13-game non-conference schedule. Below are 12 of the 13 games I know, plus the two exhibitions.

at Nebraska, October 18 (exhibition)

vs North Carolina, October (exhibition, SLC) — this will be after the Nebraska game. My hunch is it will be October 24 or 25.
vs Villanova, November 3 (Vegas)
*vs Holy Cross, November 8 — this will be the home opener, sources tell me
*vs Delaware, November 11
vs UConn, November 15 (Boston)

vs Wisconsin, November 21 (Salt Lake City)
ESPN Events Invitational Game #1, November 27 (Orlando)— Miami, Georgetown, or Dayton
ESPN Events Invitational Game #2, November 28 (Orlando)— Miami, Georgetown, or Dayton
vs Clemson, December 9 (New York City)
*vs Eastern Washington, December 22
*vs Pacific — sometime in December
*vs South Dakota —sometime in December
*vs UC Riverside — sometime in December

*Games with an asterisk are ones that I have reported.
