The San Antonio Spurs could be getting a new home soon. Bexar County officials voted to move forward on a proposal to relocate the Spurs from the Frost Bank Center to a new arena downtown on Tuesday, according to a report from Texas Public Radio.

President Donald Trump’s White House reportedly is urging Texas Republicans to redraw the state’s congressional district lines ahead of next year’s midterm election. 3. What you need to know about the deadly invasive ant found in Texas

The U.S. Forest Service (USFS) is warning people of a potentially deadly ant species that has already infiltrated 20 states, including Texas.

Brachyponera chinensis, or the Asian needle ant, is among the most successful and widespread invasive species worldwide, according to the USDA.

Record-breaking viewership and attendance mark historic Women’s College World Series

Game 3 of the championship series, Texas’ 10-4 win over Texas Tech for its first national title, was ESPN’s most watched NCAA softball game ever with 2.4 million viewers. The previous high was 2.3 million for the 2007 Game 3 between Arizona and Tennessee.
