The 2025 NBA Finals are going into the final stages as the Indiana Pacers host the OKC Thunder in Game 4 of the series. The Pacers are currently leading the series 2-1 and continued their hot winning streak in home-court matchups. It should be a series-defining matchup for the teams. If Pacers win, they are most likely to take the championship home or if Thunder win, we might see a seven-game thriller.
Indiana Pacers bounced back from the loss in road matchup and took a Game 3 with another fourth-quarter heroics. Indiana were trailing by five points after three quarters and later, outscored the Thunder 32-18 in the final period to win the game. Bennedict Mathurin came out of syllabus with a team-high 27 points off the bench. The Pacers went 9-for-27 from 3-point line but made 11 blocks in the game. Indiana are potentially one victory away to take one step closer towards the championship.
It won’t be easy to overcome the 3-1 deficit in the Finals. This is the reason Game 4 becomes a do-or-die clash for Oklahoma City. The Warriors are the only team who overcame the 1-3 deficit in the NBA Finals in 2016. Thunder dropped two games in the series and in both games, they allowed Pacers to control the offense in fourth quarter. The Pacers have outscored the Thunder by 27 fourth-quarter points overall in the series. A historic maiden championship is on the cards for Indiana and Oklahoma City have to produce a solid performance to add spark to this series.
Ahead of a big Game 4 in Indianapolis, let’s break down the injury report and starting lineups for both teams.
