LIVE BLOG: Thunder and Pacers set for Game 4 of NBA Finals

The Thunder and Pacers are set to square off Friday night for Game 4 of the NBA Finals, with the Thunder looking to bounce back after their loss in Game 3.

NOW KOCO FIVE SPORTS. EVERYBODY, WE ARE OUTSIDE GAINBRIDGE FIELDHOUSE IN INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA. I AM BRIAN KEATING ALONGSIDE HANNAH HOOVER IN FRONT OF THE BIGGEST GAME IN THE HISTORY OF THE OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER FRANCHISE ON FRIDAY NIGHT. GAME FOUR. AS THEY TRAIL IN THIS SERIES TO THE INDIANA PACERS, TWO GAMES TO ONE. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT AS WE TURN THE PAGE ON A GAME THREE LOSS AND LOOK AHEAD TO A MONSTER OPPORTUNITY FOR OKC? THERE’S BEEN A LOT OF TALK ABOUT THROWING THE LAST PUNCH, BUT CHET HOLMGREN MENTIONED YOU REALLY HAVE TO WIN EVERY POSSESSION, EVERY QUARTER, EVERY GAME IN ORDER TO WALK AWAY WITH A WIN. AND I’M EXPECTING THAT TO HAPPEN IN GAME FOUR. THAT’S COACH SPEAK AND WE LAUGH AND JOKE ABOUT IT. BUT CHET HOLMGREN, HE’S GIVING THAT TO US TODAY BECAUSE THAT IS THE MINDSET OF THIS TEAM AS THEY WALK INTO GAME FOUR TO TRY TO STRIKE BACK AND THROW EVERY PUNCH THEY CAN AT THIS INDIANA PACERS TEAM. YOU MENTIONED COACHSPEAK. HERE’S THE HEAD COACH OF THE OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER. MARK DAIGNEAULT AHEAD OF GAME FOUR ON FRIDAY NIGHT. YOU HAVE TO FIGURE IT’S JUST ABOUT A MUST WIN FOR OKC. NOW THE MEMPHIS HOME THUNDER PLAYOFF UPDATE BEING DOWN TWO ONE IN A SERIES CAN HAVE EMOTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH IT. BUT YOU KNOW DRAGGING THOSE INTO THE NEXT EXPERIENCE AREN’T GOING TO HELP ANYBODY YOU KNOW. AND BEING UP TO ONE FOR INDIANA DRAGGING THAT IN ISN’T GOING TO HELP THEM EITHER. SO YOU GOT TO COMPETE WHEN THE BALL GOES UP IN THE AIR. AND WE’VE MADE A HABIT OF THAT. AND WE HAVE TO DOUBLE DOWN ON THAT AGAIN TOMORROW. BIGGEST GAME IN THE HISTORY OF THE FRANCHISE TOMORROW NIGHT INSIDE GAINBRIDGE ARENA. TIP OFF AT 730. OKLAHOMA CITY TIME. AND WHAT SGA EXPECTS FROM A HUGE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER. THERE’S MAXIMUM FOUR GAMES LEFT IN THE SEASON. AND. IT’S WHAT YOU WORK THE WHOLE SEASON FOR. IT’S WHAT YOU WORK ALL SUMMER FOR. SO TO ME, THE WAY I SEE IT IS YOU GOT TO YOU GOT TO SUCK IT UP, GET IT DONE AND TRY TO GET A WIN. IT’S EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. THERE’S NO OTHER WAY TO PUT IT. YOU KNOW, WE HAVE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY HERE COMING UP, YOU KNOW, TO GO OUT AND WIN A BASKETBALL GAME. AND LIKE YOU SAID, TAKE BACK HOME COURT ADVANTAGE. SO, YOU KNOW, WE HAVE TO KIND OF UNDERSTAND THE OPPORTUNITY THAT WE HAVE AND MAKE THE MOST LUTHER. MAKE THE MOST OF IT. I LIKE WHAT HE SAID. I THINK THEY’VE SAID ALL THE RIGHT THINGS. HERE’S A LITTLE GOOD NEWS FOR OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER FANS BACK HOME. ONLY TWO TIMES ALL SEASON HAS THE OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER LOST TWO GAMES IN A ROW. IF THEY WIN TOMORROW NIGHT, THEY’RE BACK IN CONTROL OF THIS SERIES AND BACK WITH A REAL SHOT TO WIN THE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP. AND THE HEAD COACH OF THE INDIANA PACERS, RICK CARLISLE, HAS MADE IT A POINT TO MAKE SURE HIS TEAM KNOWS AND EVERYBODY ELSE KNOWS THAT THEY ARE THE UNDERDOGS IN THIS SERIES. DESPITE THE LOSS FOR OKC, IT’S GOT TO BE A KILLER EDGE TO BEAT THESE GUYS. I MEAN, WE’RE WE’RE GOING TO BE AN UNDERDOG IN EVERY EVERY GAME IN THIS SERIES. YOU KNOW IT WAS IT WAS TEN AND A HALF IN THE FIRST TWO GAMES FIVE AND A HALF THE THESE LAST NIGHT. AND THEN TOMORROW. IT’S A IT’S A IT’S A DAUNTING CHALLENGE. ANYTHING LESS THAN A TOTAL GRIT MINDSET YOU KNOW AND WE JUST YOU KNOW WE JUST DON’T HAVE A CHANCE. THEY JUST DON’T HAVE A CHANCE AFTER THEY WIN GAME THREE. BUT HEY I LIKE THE MENTALITY TO HAVE THE CHIP ON YOUR SHOULDER. AND THAT’S WHAT THE INDIANA PACERS ARE GOING TO DO. THEY’RE GOING TO PLAY THE UNDERDOG UNTIL THEY RIDE THIS THING. WHAT THEY HOPE IS AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP NOW FOR OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER FANS. YOU JUST GOT TO GET TOMORROW NIGHT TO BE BACK IN CONTROL OF THIS SERIES. WE WILL FIND OUT TOMORROW. GU
