PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — With the NBA Draft taking place Wednesday, the Portland Trail Blazers are encouraging fans to celebrate the future of Rip City.
The organization will host a draft block party at the Rose Quarter Commons from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“With the number 11 pick, fans can watch the action live from the Rose Quarter as the Trail Blazers celebrate the next chapter of Rip City,” the team said in a press release.
The free event will feature multiple big-screen TVs to watch the draft, as well as music from DJ O.G. ONE, multiple basketball-related games, a photo booth, raffle prizes, and a chance to hoop with the Rip City Remix, the Blazers G-league affiliate.
Food and drinks will be available, as well as alcoholic beverages for those 21 and over. Complementary parking will be available in the Garden Garage.
