After the Indiana Pacers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 117-98 on Saturday, it’s apparent Giannis Antetokounmpo desperately requires assistance. In light of a recent injury report, the Pacers vs. Bucks playoff series could receive a star-level injection.
Bucks star Damian Lillard hasn’t played since Mar. 18, due to a blood clot scare, which was followed by blood thinner medication, keeping him out of NBA games. Amidst reports of Lillard’s health scare, both the team and the star conveyed confidence in his return to NBA action. Although it seemed like wishful thinking at the time, recent reports suggest that their confidence was not unfounded.

Milwaukee updated Damian Lillard to “questionable” for Tuesday’s match at Gainfield Bridgehouse.Â
Antetokounmpo led Game 1 with 36 points, but didn’t have adequate scoring backup. The Bucks’ starting lineup, aside from Antetokounmpo, scored a mere 14 points, falling short of the expectations of their fans and superstar teammate.
However, with Lillard in the lineup, the Bucks theoretically have another scoring threat to counter the Pacers’ much-improved defense. Last season’s first-round playoff matchup also had an injury theme, but for both parties’ sake, maybe only Game 1 of the 2025 playoff series will cnicide with last year’s beaten and battered theme.
Indiana will host Milwaukee at 6 PM on Tuesday, with NBA TV broadcasting the playoff matchup. If the Pacers wish to extend the series to 2-0, they must avoid “Dame time” if the Bucks star suits up for action.
