MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Grizzlies will team up with the Shelby County Criminal Court Clerk’s Office to host an expungement clinic next week at FedExForum for those looking for a fresh start.
The free event will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025.
The Erase & Elevate Expungement Clinic and Community Resource Fair aims to open doors to employment, housing and education by helping eligible people with the expungement process.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Memphis Grizzlies for their support and commitment to making a difference in our community,” Criminal Court Clerk Heidi Kuhn said in a statement. “Expungements remove barriers that prevent individuals from reaching their full potential, and this event is about creating second chances. Even for those who don’t need an expungement, this is an opportunity to connect with vital resources that can lead to a brighter future.”
Several organizations will be at the expungement clinic, including General Sessions Court, City of Memphis, Transitional Reentry Adult Program, Xcelente Trucking & Logistics Training Center, HopeWorks, Shelby County Health Department – WIC, Navigate Reconnect, Shelby County Office of ReEntry, A Betor Way, TN Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services, Memphis Area Prevention Coalition, Behavioral Health Group.
The event is from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 5 at FedExForum in Downtown Memphis. Free parking will be available at the arena’s parking garage.
