After selecting Spanish guard Hugo Gonzalez with the 28th overall pick on Day 1, the Celtics traded their No. 32 pick to the Orlando Magic for picks 46 and 57, as well as two future second-rounders. They used the No. 46 pick to select Kentucky center Amari Williams and the No. 57 pick to take VCU guard Max Shulga.
