Phoenix started their offseason by sending Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, five second-round picks and the 10th pick in the 2025 draft that they used to select Duke center Khaman Maluach.

They continued to make moves during the 2025 NBA Draft as they acquired Mark Williams from the Charlotte Hornets for the 29th overall pick and a 2029 first-round pick and then selected Rasheer Fleming and Koby Brea in the second round.
The Suns then entered free agency expected to make more moves and they did just that on Monday night as they signed a standout from the Euroleague.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Suns signed Nigel Hayes-Davis to a one-year deal on Monday.
Of course, Hayes-Davis played four seasons in Wisconsin during his college career where he starred for the Badgers.
He then played nine games at the NBA level during the 2017-18 season with the Los Angeles Lakers, Toronto Raptors and Sacramento Kings before heading overseas in 2018.
Last season, Hayes-Davis played 34 games in the Euroleague for Fenerbahce where he averaged 16.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 46.0% from the field and 42.3% from three.
The 30-year-old forward also helped lead Fenerbahce to the 2025 Euroleague championship and was named Finals MVP as well as winning the Turkish Cup championship and being named MVP.

Hayes-Davis will now return to the United State where he should see a solid role off the bench for the Suns due to their lack of forward depth and he will give them a solid scorer and defender off the bench for next season.
