On what is a busy trade day across the league, the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday are trading Jonas Valanciunas, a player they acquired earlier this year, in exchange for Dario Saric of the Denver Nuggets, sources confirmed to KCRA 3.Valanciunas joined the Kings in February after the team exchanged Sidy Cissoko and two second-round picks to the Washington Wizards for the 6-foot-11-inch center. Since joining, Valanciunas has appeared in 32 games with the Kings.Saric is a 6-foot-10-inch forward-center who was selected with the 12th overall pick in the 2014 draft. Before playing with the Nuggets, his NBA career included the Warriors, Thunder, Suns, Timberwolves and 76ers.On the same day that the Valanciunas-Saric trade was confirmed, sources also confirmed to KCRA 3’s Sean Cunningham that free agent point guard Dennis Schröder agreed to a three-year deal with the Kings worth $45 million.Those sources spoke to KCRA on the condition of anonymity because the deals were not yet official.
