Despite a slow start to the offseason for the Golden State Warriors, there has been reported interest in restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga from multiple teams. According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, the Warriors have received interest from the Washington Wizards, Sacramento Kings, Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks.

Although they’ve received early interest, the Warriors “balked” at an initial offer from the Kings, per Slater. According to Slater, the Kings offered a package of 2024 first-round pick Devin Carter, veteran big man Dario Saric and a pair of second-round picks in exchange for the 22-year-old wing.

They’ve drawn inbound calls in recent days, most notably from the Sacramento Kings, who floated an offer of Devin Carter, Dario Šarić and two second-round picks, league sources said. The Warriors have so far balked at what they felt was a buy-low attempt, league sources said.

Saric has spent eight seasons in the NBA, including a season with the Warriors in 2023-24. Saric played the 2024-25 season with the Denver Nuggets, playing 16 games.

Kuminga has played four seasons with the Warriors, averaging 12.5 points on 50.7% shooting from the field to go along with four boards and 1.8 assists over his career. The former No. 7 overall pick dealt with injuries in the 2024-25 season, averaging 15.3 points and 4.6 rebounds in 47 games.
