THE Sacramento Kings have released their roster for the NBA2K26 Summer League and unfortunately, Kevin Quiambao’s name is nowhere to be seen.
Incoming sophomore Devin Carter, 2025 NBA Draft No. 24 pick Nique Clifford, and No. 42 selection Maxime Raynaud banner the 14-man lineup for the Kings which will see action at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas from July 10 to 20.
The Kings, of course, has been linked to Quiambao as the back-to-back UAAP MVP made the trip to the US.
But as clarified by Quiambao’s camp, no such deals or agreements were made as of the moment.
It doesn’t mean that the pathway to the Kings, or any other NBA team for that matter, is closed for KQ.
As of now, the Goyang Sono Skygunners forward continues to train with coaches in Sacramento and absorbing lessons like a sponge in his time there.
If a call indeed does come, that would certainly be good news for him as he tries to follow in the footsteps of Japeth Aguilar, Ray Parks, Kai Sotto, and Kiefer Ravena – national team players who had stints in the NBA Summer League.

For now, the only Filipino on that Kings list is Jimmy Alapag, who will serve as one of the assistant coaches for Summer League coach Dipesh Mistry.
