According to Keith Smith, UConn forward Samson Johnson has a workout planned with the Utah Jazz.

Johnson played center for the UConn Huskies last season. Johnson comes into this draft as a 4-year senior. He stands 6’10” and weighs 225 pounds. His stats for the Huskies have gone up season by season. He averaged the most minutes per game of his 4-year career last season with 19.3. He started in all 34 games he played, averaging 7.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 76% from the field. Johnson didn’t take a single three and appears to be your prototypical big. We’ll see if this leads to anything, but he seems to be a player Utah might be interested in for their summer league roster.

The Utah Jazz have been much more secretive about who they are working out with Danny Ainge at the helm, but we’ll try to track all the workouts this offseason. There are likely to be a lot with all the picks the Jazz have.
