The Nets are hoping that rookie Danny Wolf — more of a point forward than a traditional center — is that rare intersection of size and skill, the human Venn diagram overlap that’s going to epitomize their new style.

The idea of Wolf reaching his peak playmaking potential is tantalizing. It remains to be seen if the reality measures up to the idea.
