UConn Huskies guard Azzi Fudd has continued to fuel speculation she is in a relationship with her former college teammate turned WNBA star rookie Paige Bueckers

UConn Huskies guard Azzi Fudd has added fuel to the fire when it comes to the speculation she and her former college teammate, Paige Bueckers, are dating.
The pair were part of Geno Auriemma’s 2024-25 Huskies side that helped UConn reach the top of college basketball earlier this year when they won the NCAA Division I women’s basketball tournament by beating South Carolina 82-59.
Bueckers and Fudd went off in the final against the Gamecocks, with Fudd scoring 24 points, whilst Bueckers added 17. The National Championship win also gave Bueckers her fairytale college career ending, which then led to her being drafted first overall in the WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. Meanwhile, Fudd, who attended the WNBA Draft with Bueckers, decided to return to UConn for her final year of eligibility.

There have been plenty of rumors about a potential relationship between the two, with Fudd recently posting on social media a photo of her getting her hair done. The photo, when reversed, showed a message on Fudd’s phone case, which read: “Paige Bueckers Girlfriend”, something which sent fans of the pair into meltdown on social media.
And now Fudd has continued to further fuel that speculation following an Instagram story she uploaded on Tuesday of the pair. In the picture, Bueckers had her arm around Fudd’s shoulder, with the latter captioning the story: “Travel dayyy.”
Fudd was also in attendance for Bueckers and the Wings game against the Phoenix Mercury, which they lost 102-72. They also went on to lose their Wednesday night clash against the Chicago Sky 87-76.
And, fans were once again sent into meltdown on social media following the Wings defeat to the Mercury when a TikTok user uploaded a video to the platform of the pair holding hands
“They’re finally giving us what we’ve been begging for. Ugh thank you capturing this,” wrote one fan.

A second added: “Thank you so much for this omg.” A third commented: “THEYRE HOLDING HANDS IM GONNA PISS MYSELF.”
And a fourth said: “We appreciate you.”
However, there were some who were left furious by the video, claiming it was irresponsible to upload the footage of the pair.

One fan wrote: “Did they know they were being recorded? I’m a huge pazzi supporter and you can’t really see in the video but did they notice?” before later adding: “I love this video bc fun it’s cute so thank you but I kinda feel bad.”
And another said: “Wait I feel bad, did they know fans were gonna be recording/still there? If not it’s chill but I wonder if they thought no one would be there…”
