The Sacramento Kings are tied for the NBA Las Vegas Summer League record with two championships since 2013–the first year a champion was crowned.
Now, the Kings will aim for their third Summer League title over the past 12 years.
Sacramento needed some things to fall their way on the final day of regular gameplay in Las Vegas, and just enough went right for the Kings as they snagged the fourth and final playoff spot.
Following a 4-0 run that included a +11.5 point differential, Sacramento was firmly in the mix among other undefeated teams in the league. Once the dust had settled on Thursday evening, the Kings had finished just ahead of the Minnesota Timberwolves (4-0, +9.5 differential) for the final seed.
Here’s a look at who the Sacramento Kings will face next in the NBA Las Vegas Summer League Playoffs:

The Sacramento Kings’ Summer League continues as they await their fate, based on point differential, to determine whether they will advance to the semifinals in Las Vegas and have a chance to win their third title.
But with the immediate impact of draft picks Nique Clifford and Maxime Raynaud, not to mention Devin Carter showing flashes at the point guard position, this summer has already been a success for general manager Scott Perry and the new front office.
As fun as the actual games have been, the real question on everyone’s mind is whether or not the Sacramento Kings are done making moves.
The overarching theme at Summer League was, barring a strong shift in conversations, the Kings will head into the season with Domantas Sabonis, DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, and Keegan Murray on the roster. With that being said, there is a feeling around the league that Sacramento would like to make another move if the opportunity presents itself.
