The Dallas Mavericks finished the Las Vegas Summer League with a record of 2-3 after Friday’s 92-69 win over the Orlando Magic.
Mavericks forward Maxwell Lewis finished with a game-high 18 points. He knocked down all four of his 3-point attempts and finished 7-of-10 shooting overall.
Matthew Cleveland scored 17 points on 6-11 shooting. Nolan Hickman added 13 points. Two-way guard Miles Kelly added seven points, two rebounds and two assists in 12 minutes.

Mavericks
Wendell Moore Jr. scored a team-high 14 points and eight rebounds. Orlando had a familiar face on its summer league roster. Center Kylor Kelly, who played in 11 games with the Mavericks last season, had seven points and three rebounds. Magic first-round pick Jace Richardson did not play in Friday’s game.
No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg and two-way guard Ryan Nembhard were not available for the Mavericks. Second-year forward Melvin Ajinca missed his fifth consecutive Summer League game because of a groin injury.
The Mavericks did not qualify for the Las Vegas Summer League playoff round with wins over Los Angeles and Orlando and losses to San Antonio, Charlotte and Philadelphia. Their time in Las Vegas is over, but there were several positive developments that occurred during the 10-day window of games. including the promise of Flagg’s two-way versatility.
Mavericks fans will now wait until the start of the 2025-26 season to see Flagg make his official NBA debut.
