LEWISTON, ID – On August 8Th, the LC State men’s basketball team will have their annual dollar auction.
This auction and the money earned will go back to the student-athletes.
How the auction will work is when an attendee, with his or her back to the audience, sets a predetermined amount of time for the auction item.
The time range will be from 20 to 90 seconds.
Each table will have one runner who will have a table number sign.
Once the item goes on auction, anyone can place a bid by holding up a dollar bill.
The runner will then hold up the table number when the number is called.
The runner will take a dollar bill from the bidder, and then it will quickly move to the next bidder at the table.
Head coach Austin Johnson is looking forward to this auction.
“For our staff and players, this is one of the highlights of our year as we come together with our fans and supporters and have a great night raising money for our student-athletes,” Johnson said.
