The Miami Heat have found yet another underrated star who went undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft.

The Miami Heat are an attractive market, which they have used to attract free agents like LeBron James and Jimmy Butler in the past.

At the same time, however, the Heat are incredibly skilled at developing players who may go under the radar of most teams.

Speaking of which, the Heat may have found yet another player who fits that description, and it’s none other than Vladislav Goldin. But who is Goldin? Let’s find out.

After going undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft, Goldin was given an opportunity by the Heat in the 2025 NBA Summer League.

The competition is an incredible way for overseas talent to earn an opportunity, as evident by the Sacramento Kings signing Kevin Quiambao.

Coming back to Goldin, he is officially listed at 7’1″ and weighs about 240lbs. The 24-year-old often played as a forward and center during his NCAA career.

Speaking of which, Goldin averaged a solid 11.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game during his college career. He also shot an impressive 61.6% from the field and an okayish 33.3% from deep.

Interestingly, Goldin only attempted 33 three-pointers during his NCAA career, and all of the attempts came during his senior year at Michigan.

Vladislav Goldin goes off vs the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Summer League

After showcasing stellar year-on-year growth during his college career, the next step for Goldin was to dominate in the Las Vegas Summer League.

The 7’1″ forward had an amazing start to the competition with an 11-point performance on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting display against the Atlanta Hawks.

However, after that contest, Goldin struggled to find his form until the final matchup in the Summer League vs the Milwaukee Bucks.

Goldin contributed 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks in a nail-biting 93-92 win for the Heat to conclude their campaign.

It’s clear that Goldin can impact the game on both ends of the floor, but he needs to be consistent to earn a two-way or permanent deal from the Heat for the 2025-26 NBA season.
