The Philadelphia 76ers selected Jaden Springer with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft in an effort to add a good, young piece to the roster. While raw offensively, Springer showed a lot of potential as a defensive player in this league.

However, Springer had a tough time cracking the rotation and establishing himself out on the floor and the Sixers sent him to the Boston Celtics at the 2024 deadline. In 50 games for Philadelphia across three seasons, Springer averaged 3.4 points and 1.5 rebounds. He won a title with the Celtics later that season.

The Celtics then flipped Springer to the Houston Rockets at the 2025 deadline before being waived and landing with the Utah Jazz to finish the season. He played 17 games for the Jazz and averaged 3.8 points and 2.0 rebounds.

After playing for the Jazz in the summer league, Springer was waived as he looks to for his next opportunity in basketball.

Springer has a lot of potential still in this league. He still needs to develop an offensive game, but he can be a playable player in the NBA. He is a good cutter off the ball and can help on the other end of the floor so it will be interesting to see what happens next for him.
