CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – The Hornets unveiled their 2024-25 Emirates NBA Cup court on Thursday, Oct. 24.
The court showcases a scheme that will be used throughout Group Play and the Quarterfinals of the league’s second annual in-season competition.
Three concentric circles radiating from the center court represent the tournament’s stages: Group Play, Quarterfinals, and the Semifinals/Championship. Additionally, the court features the NBA Cup in the center and in each lane, while “The Hive is Alive” is written on the sideline.
The court will be in use for Charlotte’s two home Group Play games on:
Nov. 29 vs. New YorkDec. 3 vs. Philadelphia
Charlotte is in East Group A. They will play road games against Orlando on Nov. 12 and Brooklyn on Nov. 19.
Following Group Play, eight teams advance to single-elimination knockout rounds with the Quarterfinals taking place in NBA markets and the Semifinals and Championship being played in Las Vegas.
