Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Hailburton isn’t letting a torn Achilles stop his shine. The Pacers star is making progress off the court, including recently popping the question to girlfriend Jade Jones.
That’s right, Haliburton got down on one knee (protective boot and all) to ask Jones to do life with him. He set up the beautiful proposal in the gym of their alma mater, Iowa State. How sweet, right? Haliburton shared fantastic photos of the moment with the caption, “The place where our story started, and where our next chapter begins.”

Jones is from Iowa and was a cheerleader at Iowa State around the same time Haliburton became a breakout star with the Cyclones. The couple officially started dating back in 2019, and her Instagram account is filled with support for Haliburton throughout the years.
“I will always be your biggest cheerleader. I will forever be so proud of you,” Jones said after the Pacers’ historic run during the 2025 NBA Finals.
