PORTLAND, Ore. — Kingston Taylor, a 12-year-old attending Vernon K-8, scored big at this year’s NBA Math Hoops Global Championship.
NBA Math Hoops, a program created by the nonprofit Learn Fresh, teaches core math skills through the game of basketball. Taylor’s win is the first one for the Blazers Math Hoops program.
ARC PDX spoke with Kingston Taylor and Annie Klug, the Vice President of Community Programs at the Portland Trail Blazers.
